It already was unlikely that 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald would get another second chance in the NFL. The chances of another second chance got slimmer on Thursday.
Via the San Jose Mercury News, McDonald faces felony false imprisonment charges arising from the May 25 incident that triggered his release by the Bears. McDonald also faces misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and child endangerment.
McDonald allegedly broke through a bedroom door at an apartment he had obtained for his ex-fiancée and their child. He also allegedly assaulted her while she held the child.
