Lamar Jackson's first official practice of training camp came to a premature end.
The team announced that the two-time MVP was not practicing with the team on Sunday and was "sent home with an illness."
Jackson had reported to training camp on June 15 alongside the other quarterbacks and injured veterans. Josh Johnson stepped into the first-team role in Jackson's absence.
