We have finally reached the pinnacle of the season for diehard NFL fans. Just four teams remain as we close in on naming another champion. Three of the competitors still standing — New England, Pittsburgh and Green Bay — are familiar with this weekend, while Atlanta is a relative newcomer. As such, this weekend’s two contests are very different in scope despite the fact that each game means the same for the teams involved.
The Patriots-Steelers AFC matchup is one that we’ve seen a couple of times already, with New England taking both meetings over Pittsburgh, the first time in 2001-02 and then again in 2004-05.
