Rams DT Aaron Donald apologizes for ejection in loss to 49ers

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald apologized for his behavior after he was ejected during the team's season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Donald was tossed in the fourth quarter of San Francisco's 28–0 win after making contact with an official. Right before that incident, Donald was flagged for a 15-yard personal foul when he grabbed the helmet of 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton and ripped it off.

"I was just seeing something happening and just tried to run over there and help one of my guys," Donald said. "And, like I said, it was just a dumb decision on my part.
