NFL Week 1 - The Las Vegas Raiders have officially agreed to a three-year extension with tight end Darren Waller worth $51 million.
"This was one of the most challenging negotiations I've encountered," said Waller's agent Drew Rosenhaus, per ESPN . "It is very rare for a 30-year-old player with two years left on his contract to get a new deal."
Waller still has two years of his four-year, $29.8 million extension signed in 2019, with the Raiders' new contractual ties totaling five years and $66.25 million.
Waller was drafted by the Raiders in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft.
