Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III faces drunken-driving charges in connection with a car collision early Tuesday morning in Las Vegas that left one person dead.
The crash happened early Tuesday morning when a sports car Ruggs was driving hit an S.U.V., police said. According to a statement released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the fire department was called to the scene, where it found a person dead in the struck car.
Ruggs remained on the scene, the police said in a statement, and “showed signs of impairment.” The statement added that Ruggs would be charged with driving under the influence resulting in death.
