In his first four NFL seasons, Taiwan Jones has proven to be an integral part of the Raiders’ special teams units.
Contributions in other phases of the game haven’t been as robust, however. When the Raiders picked Jones in the fourth round of the 2011 draft, he was a running back and he spent the first two years of his career in Oakland at the position without making much of an impact. That led the team to shift his position to cornerback in 2013, where Jones again made a limited impression before missing 15 games last season with a foot injury.
