Gardner Minshew will start at quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at the Miami Dolphins. Head coach Antonio Pierce revealed the news to reporters on Wednesday.

In eight games (seven starts), Minshew has completed 67.0 percent of his passes for 1,501 yards (6.8 Y/A), six touchdowns and eight interceptions.

He's been benched twice this season, most recently on Nov. 3 for backup Desmond Ridder during a 41-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, after a bye week, Minshew will get his QB1 job back.
