Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers opted to remain with the Longhorns for another season and not declare for the 2024 NFL draft, but he still worked out at the program's pro day on Wednesday.
Ewers, one of the top 2025 draft prospects, spent his afternoon throwing to the likes of wide receivers Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Worthy in front of numerous NFL scouts and three head coaches, including Miami Dolphins boss Mike McDaniel.
Mitchell and Worthy both declared for the 2024 draft and could be selected in the first round.
While both receivers impressed, Ewers' performance on Wednesday could do himself some favors in terms of getting on the radar of NFL scouts next year as he drew great reviews for his performance:
Ewers initially committed to Ohio State before transferring to Texas ahead of the 2022 season.
