The list of 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2016 was released on Tuesday. As an avid follower of the process, I have this year's list alongside the previous three years of semifinalists. The new additions in 2016 include first-time candidates Brett Favre, Alan Faneca and Terrell Owens. Previously eligible candidates such as Tony Boselli and Sam Mills are also being recognized for the first time. Otherwise it's the same group as last year.
(Asterisks denote previous finalists, though I still missed a few of these in the 2016 update like Kurt Warner, Terrell Davis and Orlando Pace, who were all 2015 finalists)
New HOF semifinalists: Favre, Faneca, TO, but also Boselli and Mills.
