Harold Brantley, a Missouri defensive lineman who has the potential to be a first-round pick in next year’s NFL draft, has been injured in a car crash.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports that the highway patrol’s report said Brantley suffered “serious” injuries in a single-car crash.
A spokesman for the Missouri football team said no further information is available but they are “hopeful that he will be okay.”
The vehicle Brantley was driving went off the left side of the road on U.S. Highway 63, and when he overcorrected to the right his car slid off the right side of the road, hit a guard rail and overturned.
