Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz certainly stole the show while leading his team to an easy 29-10 Week One victory over the Browns, but he lost his tight end in the process.
Tight end Zach Ertz, who had a pleasant debut coming off of a five-year extension signed in January, suffered what coach Doug Pederson described as a displaced rib in the collarbone area. He's considered "week to week," per Pederson.
Brent Celek was the only other tight end active last weekend with Trey Burton slowed by a calf injury. Assuming Burton can go for Week Two, he'll be needed to pick up the slack in Ertz's likely absence against Chicago.
