There was a lot of discussion this offseason about how the Chargers and quarterback Philip Rivers might part ways, but it turned out to be all smoke and no fire when the two sides agreed to a contract extension over the weekend.
On Tuesday’s PFT Live, Mike Florio and Kevin Acee of U-T San Diego will discuss the new contract that Rivers signed and how things came together after Rivers said earlier this year that he was willing to let his contract play out this season. They’ll also talk about where Rivers and the Chargers will be playing over the life of that deal.
