If the New York Jets are looking to Aaron Rodgers as their short-term savior at quarterback, then they might have to be patient.
NBC Sports' Peter King wrote Monday in his weekly column that a trade between the Jets and Green Bay Packers "likely wouldn't be till the summer."
To say this is a fluid situation would be an understatement.
Rodgers hasn't even decided whether he wants to continue playing into the 2023 season. If he signals a desire to suit up, then the Packers need to choose between the four-time MVP and 2020 NFL draft pick Jordan Love.
