The Pennsylvania Attorney General has dismissed its investigation involving Bills running back LeSean McCoy stemming from an alleged fight at a Philadelphia nightclub on Feb. 7, McCoy's lawyer, Dennis Cogan, told NFL Media's Mike Garafolo on Thursday. The attorney general informed Cogan, the Philly Fraternal Order of Police and the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office in letters that the investigation of the alleged brawl is closed.
"LeSean did nothing wrong," Cogan told Garafolo. "He merely tried to break up a fight and he went through (expletive) over nothing."
In April, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office announced that no charges would be filed in the alleged incident that resulted in injuries suffered by off-duty police officers.
