DENVER -- New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who usually plays every snap, has taken himself off the field at times during Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos as he appears to be dealing with cramping.
Early in the fourth quarter, Gronkowski was seen lying on his stomach on the sideline as he was getting his legs worked on by members of the athletic training staff. Gronkowski was also shown holding an oxygen mask to his mouth.
Gronkowski has been listed on the team's injury report with knee and back ailments.
