FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – For all the fanfare Dan Campbell of the Miami Dolphins received during his 2-0 start, the fact is he is still a rookie interim coach.
Enter New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who no problem making Campbell look like a novice. Belichick drew up a near-perfect game plan on a short week to put an end to Miami’s hot streak during a 36-7 blowout victory for the Patriots.
Among the adjustments New England made was stifle Dolphins running back Lamar Miller (15 rushing yards), bracket and sometimes double slot receiver Jarvis Landry and confuse previously-hot quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
