Patriots File to Trademark 'Unequivocally the Sweetest' After Super Bowl 51 Win

The New England Patriots filed a trademark application last month for the phrase "unequivocally the sweetest," which team owner Robert Kraft used after the team's stunning comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

On Wednesday, Darren Rovell of ESPN.com confirmed the trademark request after Kraft used the phrase again to describe winning the Pats' first championship since the Deflategate drama. The franchise plans to use the term for "pre-recorded DVDs featuring sports."
