The Patriots didn’t practice on Friday after opening the preseason against the Packers on Thursday night but they did take care of some roster housekeeping.
The team announced that they have signed defensive tackle Casey Walker, who shouldn’t need long to get up to speed on his way around the team’s facility.
Walker played five games and made one start for the Patriots last season, but was waived off the roster when they signed running back LeGarrette Blount in November. The Ravens claimed Walker off of waivers, made one appearance for them last season and re-signed with Baltimore this offseason before getting released on August 5.
