Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is practicing Wednesday ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship against the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Andy Reid told reporters.
The 27-year-old suffered a high ankle sprain in the divisional-round victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was briefly replaced by Chad Henne before returning to the game in second half.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said on Monday the MVP candidate is "doing OK" but the team is taking things "day by day" ahead of the AFC Championship Game against the Bengals.
He wouldn't necessarily rule him out for the conference title game.
