Many believed Chris Jones would have to find a new home this offseason with the Kansas City Chiefs facing salary-cap restraints.
It turns out where there's a will, there's a way.
The Chiefs agreed to a monster five-year deal that will make Jones the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal carries $95 million in guarantees over the first three seasons and carries an average annual salary of at least $34 million.
Suffice it to say Jones' teammates were ecstatic with the news.
Jones has already put together a Hall of Fame career at age 29 while seemingly getting better with age.
