NFL Offseason - The Carolina Panthers have traded with the Chicago Bears to secure the No. 1 overall pick, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Carolina will send the No. 9 and No. 61 from this year’s draft, a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 second-round pick, and wide receiver D.J. Moore to the Bears in exchange for the first overall pick.
The Panthers will now have their pick of quarterback in the 2023 Draft. Carolina started Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, and P.J. Walker over the course of the 2022 season, all of whom are set to be free agents.
