Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks sustained a noncontact knee injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the host Philadelphia Eagles.
Brooks slipped to the ground after suffering the injury and limped to the medical tent. He was then carted to the Panthers' locker room and ruled out after the first half.
The injury was to the same knee Brooks rehabbed for 12 months before being activated from injured reserve last month.
Brooks sat out the team's first nine games while recovering from the torn ACL he suffered while playing for the University of Texas in November 2023.
