Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is on his way back to the field after missing three games with a concussion.
The first-team All-Pro linebacker has been cleared by an independent doctor and is out of concussion protocol, NFL Media's Rand Getlin reported Tuesday, per a source briefed on Kuechly's situation. Getlin added Kuechly is "feeling great" and the plan is for him to play this weekend at Seattle.
The Charlotte Observer first reported the news.
Kuechly has played just less than two quarters this season, during which he still compiled seven tackles and a sack (!
