The Carolina Panthers could have a new stadium in the future amid possible renovations to their current venue Bank of America Stadium.

Per WSOCTV's Joe Bruno, city leaders are discussing giving the Panthers a new stadium, though it would be a long way down the road as Charlotte is eyeing 2046 as a possible date.

The report of a potential new stadium comes as the city debates whether to spend "hundreds of millions" to renovate Bank of America Stadium, which opened in 1996. Bank of America Stadium is currently home to the Panthers along with Charlotte FC.
