Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless spent his Fourth of July in Miami, FL. allegedly firing two gun shots into the air after getting into an argument with a group of women near a parking garage.
While Quarless’ fate with the Packers remains up in the air, a team spokesman released this very short statement regarding the tight end:
“We are aware of the matter involving Andrew Quarless and are in the process of gathering more information. We will withhold further comment.”
The fact that the team did not immediately release Quarless after hearing about his arrest is good news for him, at least for the moment.
