Ted Thompson continues his offseason tradition of locking down his own players.
The Green Bay Packers re-signed veteran defensive tackle Letroy Guion to a three-year, $11.25 million contract, with $500,000 in escalators, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Friday.
ESPN first reported the news.
The versatile Guion can play across the Packers defensive line, making him a valuable commodity for a 3-4 defense.
The 28-year-old sought a long-term deal a year ago, before he was arrested last February on a marijuana possession charge -- he wound up paying a $5,000 fine as part of a plea agreement.
