Even though Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson has two years left on his current deal, team CEO Mark Murphy would like to keep their partnership going.
Speaking to the ESPN.com's Jason Wilde (h/t Wisconsin State Journal), Murphy said his relationship with Thompson is as strong as it has ever been.
“Ted and I, we have a great relationship. As long as he wants to continue to work, and he’s still doing a good job — and I think he still does a great job for us — we want him to continue to be our general manager," he said.
