There are plenty of players who are slowed during the OTA period because of aches and pains that will be forgotten come training camp or even minicamp.
Many of those days off escape notice, but some catch the eye because of the injury history of the player involved. A hamstring issue that kept Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham out of team drills at Monday’s practice falls into that group.
Before Beckham took the league by storm as a rookie in 2014, he was an infrequent participant in Giants practices because of a hamstring injury that he suffered in the offseason and lingered long enough to keep him out of four regular season games.
