It's back to Oakland for Aldon Smith.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that the pass rusher has agreed to a two-year deal with the Raiders, per a source informed of Smith's situation. The team later announced that they re-signed him.
The veteran linebacker only considered Oakland, and the Raiders -- especially owner Mark Davis -- viewed him as a priority.
It's a strong show of faith in Smith, who is currently serving a one-year suspension for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.
