No discussion of football handling protocols at league meetings

Among the many things to come out of the 243-page report compiled by Ted Wells into tampering with footballs by the Patriots during the AFC Championship game was the revelation that referee Walt Anderson did not know where the balls were for a period of time before the game.

There was also a long discussion of the use of two different gauges to measure air pressure in the balls, which led to different readings at halftime based on the gauge used without any documentation of which gauge was used before the game to measure the air pressure.
