A pair of NFC teams have emerged as front-runners for the services of free-agent cornerback Josh Norman.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the 49ers and Redskins have separated themselves from the pack, per a source informed of Norman's thinking. Wasting no time, the former Panthers star will visit Washington on Friday, Rapoport was told.
Along with the Niners and 'Skins, Norman has heard from roughly 10 teams, according to Rapoport, who listed the Buccaneers, Titans, Jaguars and Bears as other potential landing spots for the All-Pro cover man.
