The NFL is now trying to get back into the Los Angeles market for 2016. Like, officially. With paperwork and stuff.
According to Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, the league began issuing proposal requests to multiple venues in Southern California which could host a team or teams as soon as the 2016 season.
“It is part of the process and an effort to understand all of our options and have a well thought out plan if a team or teams were to be approved to relocate,” said Chris Hardart, NFL vice president of corporate development.
