The Las Vegas Raiders have made star receiver Davante Adams available for a trade, but a potential hurdle remains before the team can get a deal done.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler explained on Saturday's episode of SportsCenter that Adams' sizeable remaining salary for the 2024 campaign could cause other teams to request that the Raiders eat some of that money before agreeing to acquire him.
"The big key here is the nearly $17 million in salary all guaranteed," Fowler said. "That's nearly $1 million a week, most teams do not budget for that in Week 5, Week 6 of the season.
