NFL suspends Da’Rick Rogers two games

Throughout his football career, Da’Rick Rogers has seen off-field issues overshadow his immense talent. And now it’s happened again.

Rogers, a free agent wide receiver, won’t be able to play the first two weeks of the season even if he catches on with a team. Rogers has been suspended for two games, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The suspension is presumably a result of his recent DUI case.

Rogers burst onto the scene as a sophomore at Tennessee in 2011, leading the SEC in both catches and receiving yards that season. But he was kicked off the team for failed drug tests and transferred to Tennessee Tech.
