NFL still has optimism for an L.A. move by 2016 season

While the Patriots are threatening to steal the show, the league has other pressing business at hand this week.

Including one big item that’s been lingering for two decades.

According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, there’s a growing confidence that the league will be back in Los Angeles by 2016.

One source said they’re “confident there’ll be multiple options” and that’s no surprise, given Rams owner Stan Kroenke’s Hollywood Park project and the Carson project, which is being spearheaded by former 49ers executive Carmen Policy, as a potential home for the Raiders and Chargers.
