NFL teams haven't been too upset by the current bye week format as the league potentially looks towards expanding to an 18-game schedule, according to Mike Sando of The Athletic.
"I'm fine with the current setup and haven't heard teams complaining too loudly," Sando wrote on Saturday. "The second bye makes sense once the schedules lengthen by another game."
For the 2024 season, bye weeks have been given to teams since Week 5 and will run through Week 14. The Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots and Washington Commanders will be the final teams to receive a bye this year.
