NFL Rumors: Seahawks' Geno Smith Won't Have Contract Restructured for 2024 Season

The Seattle Seahawks have informed quarterback Geno Smith that he will be on the roster in 2024 under his current contract, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported. Schultz said that Seattle's front office has given its commitment to Smith.

Smith will be entering the second year of a three-year $75 million contract in 2024 and will be a free agent in 2026.

This season, Smith notched 3,624 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions in his second full season as the Seahawks' starter. In 2022, he led Seattle to a wild-card appearance behind 4,282 passing yards and 30 touchdowns.
