Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is back with the Buffalo Bills after agreeing to terms on a new contract.
Tim Graham first reported that the two sides were talking on Wednesday. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network later confirmed the news. Terms were not immediately disclosed.
Trubisky, who spent the last two seasons in Pittsburgh, was released by the Steelers in February and became a free agent. He had two more years on his contract and was supposed to remain with the franchise through 2025.
Pittsburgh's decision to release Trubisky left Kenny Pickett the only quarterback on the Steelers roster, although general manager Omar Khan told reporters the team wants to re-sign impending free agent Mason Rudolph.
