Jacoby Brissett is reportedly on to his fourth team in four seasons.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Monday the New England Patriots plan to sign the veteran quarterback. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported it will be a one-year, $8 million deal.
Brissett spent the 2023 campaign with the Washington Commanders after agreeing to a one-year, $10 million contract with the franchise in March 2023. He served as a backup to 2022 fifth-round pick Sam Howell.
The 31-year-old appeared in just three games, completing 18 of 23 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to rushing for 19 yards on three carries.
