The Dallas Cowboys do not appear to be in pursuit of quarterback Daniel Jones.

The Giants released the 27-year-old on Friday after six seasons with the franchise. He is set to clear waivers on Monday and could be an intriguing option for a quarterback-needy team.

With starting quarterback Dak Prescott out for the season with a hamstring injury, the Cowboys could be a team that fits that description. However, NFL insider Josina Anderson reported that the team is "not currently pursuing" Jones.

The Cowboys depth chart currently consists of Cooper Rush and Trey Lance with Prescott unavailable.
