A handful of coaches won't be in attendance for this week's NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy, New York Jets coach Robert Saleh and Los Angeles Rams Sean McVay all will be skipping the Scouting Combine.
While many coaches choose to be at the event in person, Florio reported that the Scouting Combine is a "major disruption" to Saleh's offseason routine. All of the Combine workouts will be filmed and coaches have the option to conduct 15-minute interviews via Zoom.
McCarthy won't attend the Scouting Combine as he stays in Dallas to continue putting together the staff and change the scheme, ESPN's Todd Archer reported Friday.
