The Kansas City Chiefs believe the Cincinnati Bengals are "older and, at this moment, not built to lock up and defend" when the two teams meet for Sunday afternoon's Week 2 matchup in Missouri, Dianna Russini reported for The Athletic.
"They do believe Cincinnati has enough in its arsenal to mix coverages and pressures to force the Chiefs to earn their points via long scoring drives," Russini wrote.
The Bengals are heading into their sixth season with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who expressed frustration with his unit outside of edge defender Trey Hendrickson after the team's Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots.
