N.F.L. Roundup: Ray McDonald, Cut by the Bears on Monday, Is Arrested Again

Defensive end Ray McDonald was arrested for the second time this week, with the police in Santa Clara, Calif., saying he violated a restraining order by being at a residence on Wednesday.

The restraining order was issued after he was accused of breaking down a bedroom door to get to his ex-fiancée and their infant on Monday.

McDonald, whom the San Francisco 49ers released in December, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and child endangerment but was free on bail. The Chicago Bears, who signed him in March, released him Monday after that arrest.
