The Giants and Tom Coughlin on Monday continued to be in the middle of a churning and ever-changing coaching interview merry-go-round.
The Giants interviewed Mike Smith, the former Atlanta Falcons coach, who became the sixth candidate to meet with the team. Also on Monday, the Giants requested to speak with Hue Jackson, the Cincinnati Bengals’ offensive coordinator and the former Oakland Raiders head coach.
The meeting with Jackson has not yet been scheduled but will most likely be slated for later this week.
Coughlin, who has not ruled out coaching again, met with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.
