Some more clarification was provided by officials following the controversial lack of a pass interference call near the end of the Atlanta Falcons' 22-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.
"That is a real-time call that officials have to make a judgement on," referee Tra Blake explained in a pool report after the game. "From the angle that they had at the time, they did not feel that there was a foul committed."
"That is a judgement call and in real-time, with the angle we had, we did not feel that there was a foul committed," Blake added.
