In a wild series of events, the Giants seemed to have taken the momentum back in a wild-card matchup with the Green Bay Packers thanks to a fourth-down stand and a long touchdown pass by Eli Manning. But Aaron Rodgers was apparently unwilling to give up his team’s lead, and he found Randall Cobb for a 30-yard touchdown that stretched the Packers’ lead to 21-13.
The game had bordered on boring for much of the first half, with the Giants taking a 6-0 lead, but since then it has taken a number of dramatic turns, with Rodgers finding his form and throwing a for three touchdown passes, including a wild 42-yard Hail Mary to Randall Cobb at the close of the first half.
