Dallas Cowboys quarterback Trey Lance is expected to get "significant snaps" for the first time this season against the Washington Commanders in Week 18, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
"There's a lot they can learn from this game, including, what is Trey Lance actually like when he plays?" Rapoport said Friday on NFL Network's The Insiders.
Lance has made three brief appearances in the eight games since Dak Prescott's season-ending injury, while Cooper Rush has handled the majority of the snaps.
Sunday's game has no playoff implications for the eliminated Cowboys, although the team could play spoiler by bumping the Commanders as low as the No.
