Don't expect Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt to be on the board long during the first round of Thursday's NFL draft.
"I've talked to a couple of evaluators over the last few days who've compared him to Joe Thomas," SI.com's Albert Breer said on The Rich Eisen Show Tuesday (1:00 mark). "I talked to one GM who said his pro day was 'the best pro day I've ever seen from an offensive lineman.'"
All Thomas did during his NFL career was get selected to 10 Pro Bowls, earn six first-team All-Pro selections and eventually make his way into the NFL Hall of Fame.
