Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers have been holding down the fort as well as expected, standing at 3-4 despite a plethora of injuries.

Star running back Christian McCaffrey has been out the entire season to this point with an Achilles injury, while receiver Brandon Aiyuk will reportedly be sidelined for the rest of the year with a torn ACL.

The team may not be on the way to a 12-5 season like last year, but NFL executives have told The Athletic's Mike Sando that a lot of teams would like to be in their position despite the teams injuries struggles.
